In 2020, the same year his son was born, Dan founded Southern Lakes Water Blasting. A mechanic-turned-helicopter pilot-turned-skydiver, he was relishing his new role as a dad when the pandemic hit and tourism came to a standstill. Determined to navigate the difficulties and provide for his family, Dan channelled his skills and entrepreneurial spirit into starting a business that would serve his community.
